Welcome to the City of Liberty Lake Planning, Engineering & Building Services on-line permit portal.  You may use this system to search for permit information, request inspections for your permits, and apply for permits online. If you have any questions, please call (509) 755-6704 to speak with a Permit Technician.

Search for Permits
Search for Permits allows you to view the status of current and previously issued permits. You may find information by searching by Permit Number or Address.
Use the upload portal to send documents and images to City Staff on your permit.
Once registered you may login and request an inspection for your permits.
Apply for Permits

You can apply on-line for COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL Mechanical and Plumbing permits.  RESIDENTIAL Solar, and RESIDENTIAL Re-Roof permits.  Plan review may be required as well as additional plans and project information.  Payment must be made with your MasterCard or VISA.  (See “How to Apply” for more information)

Who can apply?

You must be either the property owner, an agent of the owner, or a Washington State licensed contractor.

Types of permits available to be applied for online

Only the type of permits listed below are available online. These would include new construction, remodel, addition and repair or replacement. All other permits must be applied for at the Building Department.

  1. Residential or Commercial Mechanical
  2. Residential or Commercial Plumbing
  3. Residential Re-roof
  4. Residential Solar

All work is subject to field inspections by the City of Liberty Lake inspectors.

How to apply online for a permit

  1. First time users must create an online account before you can log-in. (see the link to register at the top of the page)
  2. Log-in and follow the prompts to fill in the required information on the application.
  3. Use your MasterCard or Visa to process and provide payment.
  4. Submit your application (this emails the application to City staff for a quick review).
  5. Watch for a return email letting you know that your application has been approved within 2 business days.
  6. Print a copy of your emailed permit packet to have on-site and available for inspectors.

My Permits
My Permits allows you as a user to setup and track permits you are interested in. From the Permit Information screen you click on the button at the top right to add or remove that permit from this list.
